“Already have an Asko washer/dryer. Dryer is newer, 4 years old, only need a new washer. Asko dryer can operate on it’s own but washer has to be plugged into dryer. Does this Electrolux model work the same way? Or does washer function as a standalone unit?”

SWB, thank you for your question. Our compact washers and dryers are units that can be stacked on top of one another or placed next to each other. The washer and dryer do not need each other to operate. We hope this information is beneficial to you. - Damon
