Hello, BJB61! Thanks for your inquiry! Just so you know, mold and mildew are common with front load units and our units are not designed with gasket drains--we recommend wiping off the gasket after standard use to avoid build-up and to run a cleaning cycle on the unit every 30 days to prevent build-up.
