I run a 980 TI and that card does not support either of what you are interested in. I am not unhappy with the results and I play Lost Ark, Diablo Immortal, large group WvW in GW2 etc. The cost of the monitor I would say would be well worth it but my cost was approx. 175.00. Not sure if that is any help. Good Luck!
