“Can a line out source be (for example - mp3 player) be connected to the audio in port or is it microphone only?”

• you can use an mp3 player, you will need to use the Elgato software and switch the HDMI to analog to use the headphone jack, the only issue with that is if u have a video going through you will not hear any audio through hdmi.
