• Depends on your setup situation. If you have a Wave (1, 3, XLR) and don’t need to use voice chat, you set the cap card as an audio source in Wave Link. If you don’t use a Wave, yes you would need a chat cable for a ps5

• The chat link cable I'm pretty sure is more so designed for the PS consoles.
