There is about a half inch to an inch gap in between the wall and the screen. We mounted the screen to an inch board board so we have about an inch and a half to two inch leeway between the screen and the wall. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did the ceiling mount from floor joist in my basement, but looking at how it hangs and considering the wall mount option I would say you have approximately 1/2 inch between the screen when it is hanging down and the wall. As the screen comes up and down that distance will be a little less due to the weighted bar at the bottom of the screen. I have been very happy with this screen overall. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is room to run wires. However, placing a spacer behind helps guarantee you definitely have enough room. I used a 3/8 inch plywood and it worked perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Flat against the wall the screen has about 1". The part that the screen rolls into is closer to 3/8". I used 3/4" thick wood to bring it out a bit. But cables would be able to be ran behind the screen without that extra 3/4".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have ours mounted to the ceiling and out tv hung up behind it but when we were thinking mounting it to the wall there is enough room for the wires also.
