• Yes, it keeps your beverages warmed while on the charger and for about an hour while not on the charger if the cup has been charged. It's great to take into meetings or outside

• Hi Miche, thanks for reaching out! When the Ember is on the coaster with hot liquids inside, it will not charge any higher until the mug is completely empty - this is an auto-safety setting in the mug so it's not heating on the coaster for long periods of time.

• Yes, it charges and keeps beverage warm while on charging pad. The battery automatically comes on when mug is filled and cuts off when empty but charges entire time when on pad.
