“We have a wooden enclosure cabinet open on the sides, but the top and the bottom are wood. Does the exterior radiate heat, and is it safe to use. The Exterior surface gets hot, warm, or what.”

• Yes the exterior of the unit does get hot. You need a minimum of 5 inches between the unit and any cabinets or other appliances on the top, back and sides while the unit is in use.

• The exterior does get warm and vents on the side and top. Our clearance is about five inches on top which seems just adequate especially when broiling.
