A:AnswerIt's made from thin sheet metal, like a toaster. If you are looking for something to cook your food it's great, if you are looking for something to protect yourself from small weapons fire, probably not so much. I would not use it as a stepping stool either.
A:AnswerChina. More importantly, BEWARE! When it stops working after 90 days, you're cooked!
There's no warranty after their "90 Day Money Back Guarantee." I was surprised to learn there's a product costing as much as this thing costs that does NOT have a 1 year warranty to repair or replace when it stops working. In our case what stopped working was the controller dial to switch between different functions such as "TOAST" and "BROIL". Calling the manufacturer was a waste of time. The rep had me running around, answering stupid questions, listening to her double-talk. The only relevant question answered in the beginning was "When did you buy it?" If more than 90 days, the bottom line was "You have to buy a new unit." I certainly will NOT buy this thing again. When it was working, it did a few functions okay. Ironically, toasting was not one of them. The maximum time selectable for toasting anything, an English muffin for example is 6 minutes, but it takes about 9-10 minutes to toast anything. Very slow to heat up. On “Air Fry” the maximum temperature is 400 F, not hot enough for many “air frying” applications. The pad-printed labels on the buttons wore off pretty quickly. I do NOT recommend this product.
A:AnswerI just did a 5.5 lb but a word of caution - if you can pick up a rotisseried chicken at the grocery store I'd go that route. There was no cost savings on cooking it myself and it did take some work to clean the chicken, monitor its cooking, and clean up when done. I would much rather just come home with a cooked chicken! Also, we got a fair amount of fumes in the kitchen while cooking.
A:AnswerYes, there is a light inside. I CANNOT fit my 9 X 13 glass casserole dish with handles, it's not wide enough. A 9 X 13 WITHOUT HANDLES DOES fit - though I'm not sure I would do it because it's a tight fit and wouldn't allow for much air flow.
A:Answergo to: https://parts.emerilairfryer360.com/
you can order the individual parts there, I think you are looking for the "Crisper Tray" for $12.99
A:AnswerIt will not replace a microwave regarding heating liquids. It can reheat food extremely well, bake, broil, air fry, rotisserie, toast, cook pizza.
A:AnswerI don't think it does; you are supposed to run a cycle before using to burn off any factory coating, and that has a funny smell, but once that's done and you wipe it out, it's been fine. All I smell when I cook is the food.
A:AnswerMy unit worked on 120 VAC, 60Hz, 1500 Watts (United States). But now it doesn't work at all.
(I don't know if they make a different version for 220 countries.)

A:AnswerThe Emeril Lagasse air fryer does not use Teflon. The unit body is galvanized steel and the accessories are combinations of chrome plated steel, chrome plated iron, aluminized steel and galvanized steel.
A:AnswerYou could set the air fryer in oven mode and turn-on the fan but most likely the bread will toast faster than the eggs. This oven can do a lot but you will need to experiment.
A:AnswerIt has a stop/start button and a cancel button. There are three knobs for adjustments. Temp, duration, toast, bake...... I love mine so much. I use it pretty much everyday for my family
A:AnswerYes the exterior of the unit does get hot. You need a minimum of 5 inches between the unit and any cabinets or other appliances on the top, back and sides while the unit is in use.
