I just did a 5.5 lb but a word of caution - if you can pick up a rotisseried chicken at the grocery store I'd go that route. There was no cost savings on cooking it myself and it did take some work to clean the chicken, monitor its cooking, and clean up when done. I would much rather just come home with a cooked chicken! Also, we got a fair amount of fumes in the kitchen while cooking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can roast up to a 12lb bird or a 4lb bird properly trussed on the rotisserie.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you like to use the rotisserie tool I don't recommend nothing bigger than a Cornish hen. Just to be safe to have room. I have taken a good-sized ranch chicken cut it in force and placed it in the basket, that has work for me.
