• We bought this about a month ago and have it situated on granite countertops and under a wood cabinet. We have not had any issues with heat radiating from the oven onto the counter nor to the cabinets and we almost use it daily now. We were hesitant on buying one for years and now we use it everyday. We have not found one thing negative about it.

• Since the melting point of granite is about 1200 degrees, you will be OK. The oven has feet, should be OK on any surface.
