• Strong enough to hold a phone/case but mine just had the casing snap off just from normally pulling it off after it couldn't wirelessly charge.

The magnet on this power bank is strong enough for most slim magnetic cases, but OtterBox cases are known for their thickness and rugged design, which can weaken magnetic hold. If your OtterBox case has built-in MagSafe or a magnetic ring, it should work—but the grip may not be as secure as with thinner cases.
