• I haven't tried this charger but they advertise that these batteries can be charged in any standard charger. On the other hand...anytime you rapid charge batteries you tend to put more stress on them and reduce their life somewhat. I prefer to use the standard recharge time which on the two brands I use is around 2 1/2 hours for AA and AAA batteries with about 14 hours for a 9 volt.

• Yes it works with Rayvac batteries. That is what I use the Charger for. Raovac batteries are better than Energizer. I use it with Rayvoc battries.

• Yes that charger should be fine. I have used various chargers with various batteries. Charge for a while and see if they get hot. Warm OK hot not so much. Full charge should take 4-6 hours
