Consult your owner's manual of what you're installing them in.

Put the battery in the same way you took it out. If you forgot; orient the + on battery with the + on the device.

I looked up my laptop model number on the Dell web site and obtained installation directions from Dell. There were also a couple of YouTube video's that showed the same steps. Nice to see two unrelated sources were in synch with each other.

There are only two rules; make sure the positive and negative sides are installed correctly as indicated on your device, and avoid touching the flat sides with your bare fingers. (The oil on your hands can degrade their life)

Open the remote paying attention to the position of the existing battery. Remove the old battery and install the new battery.

That would depend on the device that you are installing it on. But it normally has indication like a + or - sign on it so match it with battery + sign with the devices + sign

Desktop motherboard CMOS battery is visible next to the internal case interface connectors on the motherboard. It was a press tab to release the old battery and the new one slid right in. Less than a one minute operation once the case is open and access to the motherboard achieved. Best of luck to you.

The remote easily opens using a flat-head screwdriver. Battery goes in writing side up snap casing back together this process took me less then a minute

Well I just pop the back of my remote and take out the old and put in the new battery.

It was hard to open one of the key farbs, But once opend it was very easy to install the flate cell battrie
