Hi Jenille, You can use this power bank with an iPad 9th gen, but only with a cable, not magnetically: ．The power bank has a USB‑C PD output, so if you use a USB‑C to Lightning cable, it can charge your iPad 9 just like a regular wired power bank. ．The magnetic wireless charging feature is designed for iPhone 12 and newer with MagSafe, and iPad 9 does not support MagSafe or Qi wireless charging, so it won’t attach or charge wirelessly. So it will work as a compact wired backup battery, just not as a magnetic/wireless charger for that iPad.
