• No. The lithium batteries last longer than the regular alkaline batteries. They say it last more than 5 years.

• Yes. But it has to be manufactured like that. Not all li-ion are rechargeable

• No, these particular lithium batteries are not rechargeable. The rechargeable ones would be a lot more expensive. I really don't know but I'm not even sure if they make rechargeable lithium batteries other than for electric cars.
