• It's magnetic, designed to be used with phones that have a magnetic ring. You place it close and the magnet lines it up exactly.

• Yes, but most all of the wireless chargers on the market you have to align the charging grids/rings 100% to get a full connection to allow a charge.!!

• Yes it has to line up with the mag strip on your phone. However, the magnetic pull is strong if you get your near it it will latch it.
