“It appears to be charging wirelessly — but what does it mean when the charge LED display blinks. If I press the power button it blinks and if I hold it momentarily it goes out or stays illuminated. The operating instructions are extremely minimal.”

It means that when you put to charge the battery. The led blinks, letting you know that the battery itself is being charged
