• A:Answer Energizer sells a Re-charge(R) Power Plus battery in a 4-pack, barcode 0 39800 02880 8 (SKU usually 02880) that is a nickel-metal hydride 1.2v 800 mAh rechargeable cell, also size AAA. Some devices require a higher current, for example: some booklights that use two cells sold in a store known for an archery-style logo. In those cases, many rechargeables with Ni-MH technology fail to work for long due to the 1.2 volt rating curve, even though seen as superior to other older rechargeables. Short answer: no.
