yes it supports
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No Way - HP has locked down and think they are selling a product similar to Apple MacBook, There is no way HP can supersede the quality of Apple, so basically they are building laptops with onboard memory based on configurations based on pre-order, so if you need 4, you will get onboard 4 and then you have an option to plug in another 8 or 16gb iRAM, but only 1 slot is provided as a single dimm, So if you need 32GB it has to be pre-ordered from HP. I hate this policy of HP, and i would look at Lenova Yoga or Dell for 2 in 1 laptops. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it only supports being upgraded to 16GB of ram, but the ram is expensive since it's ddr4. It would probably just make more sense to save up for a desktop if you want to upgrade the ram in it because it cost near $200 for 16GB of ddr4. At the price it would cost to buy the laptop, and ram upgrade you could make a better desktop for the same price. Plus you would want to add an m.2 put windows 10 on that, and format the hdd that the laptop comes with just using it for storage, but again after the m.2 and ram purchase a desktop would make more sense cost and performance wise. Although it is a nice laptop for the price with what you get, but I did add an m.2 and it boots up almost instantly vs the couple it would take booting from the hdd.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are no accessible user upgrades to this laptop. Getting to the memory and hard drive would require complete disassembly of the laptop which I would imagine void your warranty.
