I absolutely cannot figure out how to find, let alone USE the fingerprint scanner on this laptop (HP Eny x360 - 15m - cn0011dx). I know it is equipped with one because the box in came in says it is included. There is NOTHING in the help section. null

Fingerprint scanner on right side of computer toward back. When I originally opened my computer I was prompted to set up fingerprint scan. It did not take so I have yet to return to do. If u are left handed this is not ideal set up. Doable but not ideal.hope that helps.

It's on the right hand side of the laptop. (opposite of the power button). It's in between the volume control and the USB - C port.

It is on the right side of the computer...if you look real close there is a fingerprint next to it. Even the HP answer missed this. Look at the volume button and move toward the screen which looks like a cover for a port- that is it. it works fine but very frustrating HP can't even give you a hint and when they do from the above answer it is wrong. lol!

The FP Reader is on the right side of my HP Envy, about 3 inches from the right front corner of the laptop. If you look closely, you will see an icon about 1/8th inch next to it.

It is a bit tricky - it's right between the volume keys and the USB-C port. If you turn on Windows Hello in the Win10 settings, it should give you an option to use it to unlock the machine. It's been pretty good for me, although sometimes it's had trouble recognizing my fingerprint - likely because it's easy to touch it from a random angle...

The fingerprint scanning feature didn't work on mine when I first turned on and set up the computer. I didn't care too much about having fingerprint security, so I didn't mess with it.
