I bought an LG 8x usb 2.0 super multi portable dvd external drive to go along with this laptop because I was having problems getting the Adobe licensing to work on downloaded software. I haven’t had any problems so far with this drive.

However, you can use any external CD/DVD drive, which will connect to any available USB port. If you need to support Blu-Ray then you will want to make sure the drive you choose has Blu-Ray capabilities.
