Free space will be somewhere around 200gb when you open the box. If you have a lot of photos/music, you will eat up the storage the same as you do on a HDD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It holds 256GB. A gigabyte is a standard of measurement. It will hold as much as a 256 hard drive would. If you are concerned about space you could use an external hard drive for backups and storing personal files.
