This laptop does not have a DVD/CD player. It is fast though. I've been very happy with the performance.

The computer is quite fast, more so than most computers available. But no, DVD players are not built into x360 form factor computers since the drive needs to remain upright in order to work. However, you can certainly use an external DVD drive, which will connect to any available USB port.
