  • QuestionI was interested in the samaung premier however this short throw has really grabbed my attention. Two questions...1) I'm into gaming so what is the input lag on this (I've heard it's great) 2) is there any plans for hdmi 2.1?

    Asked by Greenscar.

    • Answer HDMI 2.1 would be nice if and only if the projector were able to do 4K @ 120hz!!! Find one that is. First find a native 4K projector. Not in UST yet. You are not even getting eARC for ATMOS out of these. The only set up you should be doing is video input to the projector. Don’t pass audio through the projector, even if it has HDMI ARC. The Samsung is on my short list too. I think the LS500 would be better for gaming. However, study your projector to wall distance for each carefully. The LS500 is longer than most UST projectors, but I also one of the brightest with lowest lag.

  • QuestionIs this a new technology? Why haven’t I heard of this type of system before?

    Asked by Santana.

    • Answer Hi Santana, For the most part, yes, this is a new technology. What makes this system stand out is Epson developed a 3-chip 3LCD ultra-short throw laser-array projector with 4,000 lumens for both color and white brightness. This level of color and white brightness is exceptional and unmatched. When you combine this level of performance with our specially designed ambient light rejecting screen, the results are amazing. Three years ago, when Epson set out to design a projector and screen to work together, a new-type of television experience was born. Regards, Nancy - The Epson Team.
