• No. I tried it because it looked like it would. But there are reverse positions on the two cartridges of the pieces that fit into the slot of the printer.

• Yes, the cartridges still fit nicely, you are getting more ink, that’s what the XL means. Same size cartridge just more ink. I always look for the XL cartridges.
