“Does the 1430 use the same ink cartridges as the 1400? I have so many left from my old 1400.”

• No idea. But I use generics on it (get all 6 colors for like $6 shipped) and look much better than authentic Epson ink.

• Yes...the print cartridges are the same for both printers. Since I had a good stock of cartridges that I had used with my 1400, that was a factor in buying the 1430.
