no the ink does not dry up but if you don't use a color for an extended period of time, the print head stops working and it takes a lot of cleaning to get it started again...if you can get it started again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about a daily basis but if unused for a long period of time the color will not work. Black and white does print if used at least monthly. Once color does not work the cleaning process is challenging. But it is nice to have the black and white print last so long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. I haven't went longer than 2 weeks without having to print something but when I did, the printer worked perfectly without a hint of the ink drying up. I've found this very encouraging myself because I used to have a HP and ran into the same problems. That and those tiny little cartriges that drove me INSANE having to change them it seems right after I bought them! And still they dried up. I wish I knew how long you could go without having that problem with the ECO but two weeks is quite an improvement. And you could probably go three-I haven't yet-but it looked fine at two so I'd say you could get by with going that long. Hope this helps you and I'm sure you'll LOVE this machine. I'm so happy with it, it's become one of the family since Aug. Good luck! Fire
