You can see the ink through the window.

Hi Chris, Epson printers that use the EcoTank 502 refill bottle use refillable ink tanks. The front of the ink tanks is clear, which allows you to see how much ink is available in each tank by looking at them. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
