“I ordered new cartridges for our Epson ET2850 (502) and received DYE INK but my original bottles say INK BOTTLE. I did see piece not to mix pigment ink and dye ink. I ordered ink twice & received dye ink twice. Is using the dye ink a problem?”

If you plan to use this for standard printer paper, then YES, it would cause an issue. The dye ink is better used when transferring the print to another object off of the special paper used for doing so. Hope this helps.
