“Can I use the 552 ink in this printer? The printer calls for the 522. I know the actual bottle nozzles may not fit but is there any difference in the actual ink since they are both dye based ink? I can use a syringe to put it in if the ink is the same.”

Hello. The ET-4700 is compatible to only work with Epson 522 Ink Bottles. Using alternate ink is not supported and can impact printer functionality and color accuracy. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
