Hi, The EcoTank ET-3850 has several features the ET-2800 does not have. These include an auto document feeder for the scanner, automatic two-sided printing and larger ink tanks. For more details, visit the Epson support site. The ET-2800's maintenance box lasts the life of the printer. It is not user replaceable. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
