If you don't print all the time, does the ink dry out? null

Not the way a cartridge printer does. I was out of town for 3 months when I came back all I had to do was a nozzle clean and a deep clean. Very easy to do. Most instructions were on the printer for the deep clean I believe I went on line for instructions.
