• yes, it has wireless capabilities and I send items to be printed from my laptop to my office from my living room all the time. The phone should be able to work the same way.

• Hi barb, The EcoTank ET-2800 does not fax. It is a printer/scanner/copier. You can use your smart phone and the free Epson Smart Panel app to scan and print photos. A computer can download the applications associated with the ET-2800 and scan and print, too. If you need to fax, consider the EcoTank ET-4850. You can fax from a computer or the front-panel controls on the printer, but not a smart phone. The ET-4850 is currently available at Bestbuy.com, but inventory levels can change.
