“my old HP Envy 5500 printer goes to sleep, then will not connect to Wi-Fi from my laptop until I shut the printer down, unplug my router, wait 1 minute, plug it back in then restart the printer. This happens everyday. Will this printer do same?”

I’ve never use a laptop to connect to my printer, so I really have not experienced a problem I have Wi-Fi that’s connected to my printer and as far as I know, it is always connected. Have not had any problems. I purchased a HP printer last year and it gave me problems was not happy with HP right now

Hello termite. The ET-2850 should remain connected after you turn it back on from sleep mode. Please note that issues like the one described can occur due to router settings. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
