Hi BrentB, The auto document feeder on the ET-4850 is not suitable for originals that are creased or folded, contain holes, staples, tape, or other materials that could obstruct the feeder. These types of originals can be placed on the flat bed and scanned. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
