“I currently have a Brother printer which uses tanks instead of cartridges. The print quality is terrible. Much lighter print colors and washed out looking. Does the Epson printer provide print quality comparable to an inkjet printer that uses cartridges?”

Hi JoyfulR, Yes, Epson tank printers produce the same high-quality output as our cartridge printers. The EcoTank ET-4850 is a light office/home office printer. It prints fast, excellent quality documents on plain paper and very good quality photos on photo and photo-matte paper. Setting the driver to High, rather than the default Standard quality will produce better text and images. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
