• I did exactly that. Now the bottles are empty and I can throw them away.

• Hi Mel, Yes, you can empty the remainder of the ink in the bottles into your EcoTank Photo ET-8500's ink tanks. Save and use any ink left in refill bottles. Regards, Dylan - The Epson Team.
