“How can I get my new Epson ET-8500 printer to close the Output Tray automatically? Maybe after a period of time or when the power shuts down. The printer's firmware is updated. The only option I see is to close it manually through the printers LCD screen.”

Hi MikeB, The output tray on your EcoTank Photo ET-8500 opens automatically when you send a print job. It does not automatically close. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
