• Nothing will look as good on plain paper as on photo paper with the correct setting. If you want to print on plain paper, you’re wasting your money buying this quality of printer.

• Hi Eddieooo,The EcoTank Photo ET-8500 will print really good quality photos on plain paper, but that type of paper becomes too saturated with large areas of ink coverage. For excellent quality photos use photo or photo matte paper in the ET-8500. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
