“Is the only difference between the 8500 and 8550 that the 8500 only prints up to 8x10?”

• Hello Shutterfly. The two printers have similar designs and specifications. The ET-8550, however, can print on paper sizes up to 13" x 19", and the scan bed can accommodate originals up to 8.5" x 14" in size. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

• ET-8500 can handle borderless printing up to 8.5” X 11” while ET-8550 can print up to 13” X 19”. Therefore ET-8550 is a larger printer. That is the main difference.
