“Will the Epson ET-8500 scan an image of one size and be able to print smaller images? I am interested in taking a 16x20 painting and making 5x7 prints or 2.5" x 3.5". Is this possible and also is it possible without the use of a computer?”

The scan plate is only 8.5 x 11.5.l You could use a camera and import the file using the card reader slot on the ET-8500. Then set the output size you want. Help this helps.

However, the scanner can only scan photos up to 8.5" x 11.7" in physical size.
