Hello Jen. The ET-8550 is compatible with Epson Photo Papers. Unfortunately, we have not tested 3rd party Photo Paper on the machine, so your results will vary when using 3rd party brands. Using the high-quality option will normally give you the best details, but use more ink. However, suggested print settings can always vary based on the paper used. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am trying to use the Epson paper to get good quality. And it it is not disappointing me. I noticed that the set up used more ink then printing. I would say try both modes and see what works best for what you want. I have been using high quality for my printing.
