“Can this printer use pigment ink? I am in need of a wide format printer for crafting. Since it has six colors, does pigment ink come in gray? Need to know ASAP”

• Hello Shirl. The ET-8550 uses a combination of dye and pigment-based inks. The grey, in particular, is dye-based. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

• It is best used with Epson inks or else you void the warrantee. One of the colors is gray to help with photo printing.
