Hi bender, The EcoTank Pro ET-5800's scan speed depends on settings such as resolution, quality level and data transmission speed. You can make copies through the auto document feeder at from 10 to 23 pages per minute, so scanning should be around that range. If you need consistently fast scan speeds, the Epson WorkForce ES-400 II scans at 35 sheets per minute. It is a dedicated scanner without print capabilities.
