• it actually doesn't control it, i just got an apple tv 4k. apple tv remote cant control volume/mute or power.

• Hello mariano88. The EF-12 Remote can control the Apple TV navigation and playback controls through HDMI CEC controls. Unfortunately, the AppleTV remote will not be able to control the EF-12 power and volume. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
