• I tried and it didn't work. We ended up purchasing a small wireless controller (USB receiver) from Amazon that has a built in lsser pointer for $20. Maybe something changed with a firmware update.

• Hello RemoteLaptopHDMI. It should work if your remote control is connected directly to your laptop. The connection between your computer to the EF12 projector is strictly a video connection, so it shouldn't interfere with remote functionality. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
