Hi pumpkin, The Expression Home XP-4100 works with Windows versions from XP to 12. As long as your laptop is running a Windows version within that range it should work. The XP-4100 can do automatic double-sided printing, but does not include fax. Fax capabilities are more common in Epson’s WorkForce line like the WorkForce Pro WF-4820. The WF-4820 can print two-sided documents and fax. In order to fax, the printer must be connected to a phone landline. It is also compatible with Windows from XP to the latest version. The WF-4820 is currently available at Bestbuy.com, but inventory levels can vary. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
