“I am wondering if the software for this printer can be downloaded onto my laptop another way (from Epson website)? I have a brand new Macbook and will not be able to download the printer software using a CD, since the newer Mac's no longer have a CD slot.”

• Yes! The instructions come with a link to download the software online. I had the same issue as you (MacBook without a CD slot), but the download process was super easy. Highly recommend!
