If you mean can you plug a thumb drive into the scanner, NO. The scanner needs to be connected thru USB cable or WIFI, to a computer which runs the software to manage the printer. You could plug the "flash drive" into the computer and have the software safe the pictures directly there rather than the computer's hard drive..

No, it has to go directly to a computer as the downloaded drivers cannot go on the scanner.
